Marilyn Davies College of Business Hosts Business Alumni Conference

The University of Houston-Downtown’s Marilyn Davies College of Business hosted a Business Alumni Conference on Saturday July 10 at UHD’s Shea Street Building. The event hosted speakers that included UHD business professors, along with corporate professionals that addressed a variety of career-oriented topics such as managing personnel, acquisitions and the effects of COVID-19 and business.

Assistant Professor of Business Dietrich Von Biedenfeld helped organize the event as a way for the College of Business faculty to maximize their time and talents to be available to alumni.

“This event provided presentations by subject matter experts to refresh alumni recollection, address practical questions and demonstrate value of a UHD education to graduates,” he said. “This event also served as a prime a networking opportunity to strengthen the Gator connections among alums.”
