Internship Opportunity with NASA Open for Applications through July 9

Every University of Houston-Downtown student is encouraged to dream big and shoot for the moon. This year, that might actually happen. NASA is accepting applications through July 9 for interships and fellowships in programs that bolster space exploration and the sciences.

NASA interns use their creativity and innovation to work on projects impacting NASA’s mission. NASA interns are part of a team dedicated to space exploration and will work with leading experts as well as participate in research and mission projects. At NASA, interns have the opportunity to work and explore careers while still in school. The Pathways Program provides current students with paid work experience and recent graduates with a dynamic career development program at the beginning of their careers.

The 2021 NASA Fellowship Activity is seeking research or senior design projects and proposals that are independently conceived and pose significant contributions to a NASA Research Opportunity. The fellowship is designed to support NASA’s Office of STEM Engagement’s mission and offers academic institutions the ability to enhance graduate learning and development.

The NASA International Internships Project offers university students from participating countries competitive internships opportunities at a NASA field center. During the internship, students work with U.S. and other foreign interns under the guidance of NASA mentors. Internship sessions are typically offered three times per year (Spring, Summer and Fall).

Applicants for this internships must be U.S. citizens. Applications are available online.
