FAFSA and TASFA Virtual Workshops Help Students with Forms, Application Process

The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid will host virtual workshops via ZOOM regarding the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA). If students need assistance completing an application, the workshops will help students to understand the forms and next steps in the process. These workshops will take place throughout the months of November and December.

FAFSA Virtual Workshops
These discussions will cover the 2021-2022 FAFSA, ways to check the status of your financial aid and how to submit additional documentation if needed. The sessions will also cover awards, disbursement and refunds.

These discussions will cover how to complete TASFA application including what documents are needed with the application, how to check the status, awards, disbursement and refunds.

  • Social Security Card and alien registration number (if applicable)
  • Date of Birth
  • 2019 W-2 forms/1099-MISC
  • 2019 Tax returns/transcripts
  • FSA ID’s if you have one already
